We hope you find these links to local places of interest. There are some fantastic gardens to visit, from the Botanic Garden at Logan to the hand-created gardens at Glenwhan. There are some challenging and scenic golf courses close at hand - such as the clifftop course at Portpatrick and the loch-side course at Stranraer. For good food and drink, there is Campbells' Restaurant in nearby Portpatrick, and many others. Further afield there is Castle Douglas Food Town, Plantings Inn at Castle Kennedy, and Colfin Smokehouse on the road to Portpatrick is well worth a visit.
